My version of ComplexCon visualized through Takashi Murakami flowers. As a reader of Complex and fan of Murakami (he also art directs the event), I blended the two together by creating flowers based off some of my favorite albums and sneaker colorways throughout the years.
This is my first quilt. In total, there are forty-five flowers consisting of; 810 pieces cut, 720 pieces sewn down, and 136 different fabrics used.
